The obelisk erected in 1812 sits on top of the well, tells the
story of the wells gruesome past, which took place in 1663.

Invergarry Station Project

Invergarry Station Project

The station is situated at Laggan Swing Bridge, on the Great Glen Way and adjacent to the Great Glen Water Park and Canoe Trail.
This is an exciting and challenging project to establish a static railway museum at the site of the old Invergarry railway station - 'a station frozen in time'. Clearance of vegetation on the site will soon be completed and 2013 will see repairs to the platform and underpass where necessary, and preparation of the site to receive artifacts.

Glengarry. It was burned down in 1654 rebuilt c1660-1665 partially
