    Fantastic high touch B&B. Spacious shower with whole supplies. Spacious bed with ultra comfortable linen (three one you... usually get at Five Stars). There are all kinds of things in the room including large TV. Breakfast ranges from self made cooked breakfast, self made bread to selection of groceries. The only downside is the internet is a bit slow, which is acceptable given the remoteness of the town.read more

    We had the pleasure of staying here for a couple of nights and thoroughly enjoyed it! Our room was exceptionally clean... and came with a great selection of tea and coffee (not only instant, but also your own Nespresso!). The highlight was the home cooked breakfast, especially the homemade bread and the french press coffee. Ideally located in the heart of the village, we'd totally stay here again!read more

    My wife and I were lucky enough to be the first guests since the loosening of the covid guidance and reopening of this... b&b. Jason is a fantastic host and made us feel very welcome and safe. Our room was very clean and had everything you would need. We were travelling by bike and appreciated the bike storage and espresso machine! Thanks, we’ll be back!read more

    Very well appointed room with so many touches we appreciated - Nespresso machine with a variety of pods as well as teas... etc, bottled water AND drinkable loch water, USB ports, charging cables, face cloths and make up remover cloths, lovely big shower and fluffy towels, big TV with FreeSat - and all this right next to the amenities of Fort Augustus (literally right there) with the view of the loch as soon as you turn onto the street. Very good value and friendly service.read more

    Stayed 2 nights. Spotless room, made-to-order breakfast, very friendly staff. Had parking right in front in the... grass. Only problem was the rain!read more

    A beautifully renovated and decorated old cottage; spotlessly clean (even under the bed as I found when I dropped an... earring); charming breakfast room where you can watch the swing bridge at the bottom of the locks opening and closing; breakfast beautifully cooked and presented, and plenty of choice; really good shower; comfortable bed; friendly and helpful hosts. With a brilliant location, what more could anybody want?We stayed a full week, which is apparently unusual: for this the bedroom (ground floor rear) was a bit small and lacking in storage space, but this is to be expected when you stay in an old cottage. Despite this we would definitely stay there again, even if staying a fortnight!read more
