Not much to see - an old (but well maintained and surprisingly bouncy) suspension bridge that doesn't lead anywhere (it... is gated at one end). It is located next to the Caledonian Canal, and a swing bridge, allowing passage of the A82, which is interesting to watch when it opens to allow boats through. There is a small, well signed car park a couple of hundred feet up the main road from the swing bridge, and you can walk down the pavement to the canal & suspension bridge without needing to cross the busy road.On the far side of the road from the suspension bridge is a pleasant picnic area next to the canal (only one table, though ?).read more

What a hidden gem. A village we have often passed through without stopping on the way to Fort Augustus. There are... several paths along the river , which is beautiful regardless of the weather or season. Not far from the road is a tiny summer house, which is hexagonal in design and built in stone, it offers a wonderful place to sit and enjoy the falls whatever the seasons decide to throw up. The area is full of life even in winter when we decided to travel. . Well worth stopping off if your travelling around Loch Ness.read more
Great views and only a short walk from the car park. The footpath was rather muddy though so a change of shoes is... required if getting back in the car. I now have wet feet! ?read more
From the parking its only a 5min walk. I would recommend just going straight to the summer house to see the falls then... come back to view the old and new bridges which are amazing to see. Past the summer house is a easy stroll through the forest but nothing special if you have a busy day to get all the sights in.read more
A MUST DO - this was one of the most beautiful little walks I've done in Scotland in autumn. It only takes about 10... minutes to reach the falls from the carpark - the path can be hard to find but just follow along the river for first a stunning view of the Invermoriston Bridge and then further down the falls. The best view of the falls is from the summer house structure. It's a quick romp but so worth it. Absolutely stunning.read more
Very easy to get there. Free car park nearby. Old bridge is great and make sure you go across the road through the wood... to the summerhouse on the cliff edge.read more

Very easy to get to with a sizeable carpark, paths are scenic and comfortable to walk on (when not too muddy) the falls... themselves are impressive and worth a look along with the quaint little summer house that overlooks the falls. However it is worth noting that this is a stop for almost every passing tour bus making seasonal mass surges of people descend all in one go. Due to the amount of people the access paths often get muddy, but all in all of you can find a quiet time to visit (or off season) it's well worth a quick saunter down for the viewsread more
Lovely area with good waterfalls and bridges. Was there in October on a sunny day and the colours were fantastic. Wear... your walking boots as it can be a bit muddy. There is only a car park and there are no other facilities. There is a hotel nearby.read more

Lovely forest walk along the Cascades that are Invermoriston Falls! The carpark is free and it's a very short walk to... see the bridge and the waterfalls! It's a bit muddy (even now I'm the middle of summer) and uneven natural ground so those in wheelchairs would unfortunately struggle -maybe try check it out from the road or something! I highly recommend stopping here and definitely find the little 'Summer house' it's free and small and provides an awesome view!read more
Water starts at the top and ends up lower down. Good fun. If it didn't it would be more remarkable. But it does the... most it can working within it's limitations but, if it did vary the act a little it would really put Invermoriston on the map.read more
