Description
The Hall is used to stage entertainment events, organised by GLEN and on a weekly basis by a number of "resident" clubs and groups.
The present Hall was opened in 1999, replacing a previous building that stood on the same site. Constructed with the support of the Millennium Commission and the invaluable input of a number of community volunteers, this is a superb facility that has become a focus for local activities. Regular weekly club activities are complemented by a number of entertainment events including live theatre, music and dances. Plus some "landmarks" in the calendar such as the annual Hogmanay party, Lite Bites summer cafe, Over 60's dinner and Carol Concert.
