We stopped here for lunch on our way to Isle of Skye and it was such a breath of fresh air on our journey. The... sandwiches are delicious, salad perfectly dressed, and wonderful assortment of drinks and cakes. The atmosphere is also very relaxed and friendly. We will probably stop here again when we go back to the mainland :)read more

Very friendly service. Only had a drink and a cake so can't comment on the food apart from the cake which was delicious... and a very generous portion. Would recommend for a pit stop when travelling around seeing the sights in the Highlands. The ladies were happy to share their local knowledge and advise the best way of seeing the landmarks which was really useful.read more

Really friendly service. Good range of cafe/pub food. Sandwiches were really tasty, and lamb burger was excellent. Good... range of cakes. Refills of water which was very handy on our Great Glen bike ride. Ate outside on a warm sunny day. Were offered a sun umbrella for the table which was a lovely touch. We refused on account of wanting to get all the Scottish sun we could!read more

We tried this lovely little cafe in our village for the first time and can honestly say the food is outstanding. My... goats cheese salad was the best I've had and my husbands BLT sandwich was according to him amazing. We loved the food so much we decided to go back the very next morning for brekkie. Stopped in here with a friend towards the end of a long day hiking the Great Glen Way. Amazing hospitality from the... guys that work there. Stopped off at the Glen Rowan Cafe on route to Skye. What a fantastic place to eat. 3 picnic tables outside (as well as... indoor seating). We sat outside enjoying the beautiful day. All staff were so friendly and helpful (even accommodating my request for diluting juice but getting some from their own home). Above and beyond what you would expect from any cafe. We both went for the sandwich option which came with crisps and salad pot. Wanted to have cake after as looked gorgeous but were just too full. Would definitely return and recommend to all.read more

We visited restaurant only and it was great. Area itself were food was served, was on a smaller side so felt a bit... crowded and really warm. Food was delicious, we ordered steaks and even though I asked for rare got medium I didn’t send it back because it was just too tasty. This was a superb find, run by very friendly ladies, on the edge of Invermoriston. The cafe has a lovely atmosphere,... even a wee record player going for some background music :)The sun was shining so I took advantage of the outside seating and enjoyed a beautiful lunch there. While walking part of the Great Glen Way with a pal last week, we were directed to this lovely wee cafe by a group of... young laddies, absolutely raving about the place.We stopped in for lunch and we were not disappointed. We both had the lamb burger, which comes with a large portion of chips and a side salad - mine on a gluten free bun as I am gluten intolerant. Both of us promptly gobbled down our burgers and I made my best attempt at my chips, full bellies and big smiles all round.The staff here are lovely, the food and coffee is great, definitely a great place to stop if your ever passing.read more

Stopped here during a Scotland trip a year or so ago. The women working were very kind and gave good advice to this... traveler. We ordered two sandwiches and two cakes. The sandwiches were possibly the greatest sandwiches I've ever had, not just... in size (they were massive) but in taste and quality too. Wonderful cafe, breakfast portions were very generous and absolutely delicious. Drove up from Newcastle with family... visiting from Florida and we’re so happy that we stopped here instead of eating at the hotel. As a fully paid up member of the burger eaters club this place is amazing. 100% genuine home made burgers. My wife... assures me the sandwiches are also great. Fabulous fresh food, made on the premises. Portions are of a generous size!I love the BLT, thick cut bacon cooked... until crispy on chunky fresh bread served with side salad & crisps. Not only do you get great food and amazing value for money but also 2 lovely ladies that run it go above and beyond in... the service you receive. My brother fancied beans on toast but the breakfast menu had finished and they’d run out of beans. This didn’t stop them, they ran over to their own house and grabbed a tin! Honestly the loveliest staff and the tastiest food I've had in The Highlands. It was the perfect stop over for us who... were travelling through on a long journey. Gorgeous food x breakfast lunch cakes and beverages lovely to sit outside opposite the forest across the road. However... we had a shower of rain and there wasnt any seating left inside so we stayed seated outside with our own umbrellas. If they could pop umbrellas outside it wouldn't matter if a shower caught you out. But would recommend Glen Rowan Cafe.read more
