Great experience, absolutely worth going, the views as the sun set over the Loch were spectacular. Staff were... knowledgeable and kept the narrative of the tour interesting throughout. The boat was great big enough to break most waves and sit comfortably but also small enough to stand on the room and enjoy bouncing on the waves. Would recommend!read more

Amazing boat tour, brilliantly clear and well managed covid-19 procedures. The host was very funny and knowledgeable.... The highlight of the trip being a rescue helicopter using our tour boat for a test exercise by winching a man onto our boat in the middle of the Loch!read more

Absolutely outstanding.
Great customer service, coffee, tea on board if you go for their longer trip. History of the... Loch well explained and as we left with the early group it really felt like a private boat just for 8 of us.
They were following all the Covid regulations in a great manner while letting you soak in the feeling of Loch Ness.

Thank you!read more

Our family ❤️'d this 2 hour boat cruise on Loch Ness. It was a bonus being sunny and no rain. Being in the middle... of Loch Ness surrounded by stunning mountains simply takes your breath away 😲. From base you travel down the Caledonian Canal on to Loch Ness and get great close up views of Urquhart Castle before the return leg. A family ticket cost us £68 and definitely worth every penny. The Jacobite staff where amazing giving clear 'Covid 19 Regs' instructions including a reduced capacity (max 70 out of normal 200). If you're a 📸 or like a 🤳 you will be in your element. A must do...read more

We go for a cycle along the canal and it's a lovely place to and it. It's save with no traffic and great scenery and... wild flowers and insects to see and try identify. Got a puncture on my bike today but luckily for me Kenny from Bikes of Inverness stopped and fixed my bike before heading off with Julie on their cycle. How kind and selfless. Made my day.xread more

Despite the dreich weather, (but no rain fortunately, as we were at the front of the boat) this was an enjoyable trip... "doon the watter".
Unfortunately we didn't get a sighting of Nessie but we did get a great view of Urquhart Castle.
It's a great pity there is no trespass law in Scotland as a fortune was there to be made from all the people that were in the castle grounds despite it being closed to the public. 😠
Would thoroughly recommend this trip 👍

On a planned break to Inverness as pandemic lockdown restrictions are easing, thought an open air cruise on Loch Ness... would be perfect! Very enjoyable and informative! Sadly didn't get a glimpse of Nessie! But the scenery is stunning, what else can I say? All covid19 restrictions adhered to, felt very safe, thank you!read more

How could anybody come to Scotland and not visit Loch Ness? It was a sunny day so we took the cruise. This was early... on during our holiday and offered the best views so far. It was a relaxing cruise and snacks and drinks could be bought onboard. Enjoy the peace and tranquility- take the cruise!read more

Staying in Inverness, you have to see Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle. The Jacobite services were very good although... pricey. Catch the boat at various points along Loch Ness, no need to book in advance. 1 hour boat ride for us, 1 hour at the castle and 1 hour return by boat. The 3 hours cost £60:00. Commentary on the boat pointing out various places of interest. Bar and toilets on boat. Very picturesque starting point. Enjoyed our day on the boat and at the castle, but you can see Urquhart Castle by parking near to Spean Bridge on the way to Fort William and you can walk along the banks of Loch Ness which was all free.read more

Great boat trip! We chose the 3 hour trip including a visit to Urquhart castle. It was a pleasant cruise despite the... typical Scottish weather. :-) Excellent views and a knowledgeable guide. If you want to sit on deck you may well need a good coat but there is a reasonable amount of indoor seating. The staff at Urquhart insist on being in charge of embarking and disembarking at the castle despite their lack of training. Somewhat chaotic when there are two boats, two queues, no signage or any staff who know what's going on before you get to he actual boats. Still worth it, just go with the flow.read more

We loved this loch tour! We were so lucky to have a glorious day to enjoy it. The commentary was informative. Literally... the only improvement I can think of is that we would have liked to be able to have stopped off at the ruins...but I'm not even sure this would be possible due to depths of the water. If I'm ever up this end of the country again, I will definitely be booking this...hopefully the sunshine attends again next time too ?read more

This is a definite five star rating. The staff were very friendly and kind. Me and my two daughters came 5mins before... the cruise left because of traffic and they kindly waited for us.
The person giving us the guide of the Loch was
a very good speaker and gave us a giggle with good jokes. And most of all the view was very fascinating to look at. Thanks for all the great staff and will hope to see you again :)
