Amazing location! Amazing cabins just by the lake with super nice lake view! I can’t find any hotels or B&B nicer than... this. Ash and Osh are so helpful and welcome. To celebrate my wife's birthday we spent two weeks touring Scotland with our three teenage kids. Everyone of them... agreed that, no doubt, staying here on Loch Ness was the highlight of our tour.We have never stayed somewhere so warm, welcoming and comfortable. The main house was charming, clean and comfortable. The owner was so personable and we never bored listening to the wonderful history of the place. The free roaming animals added to the charm. The Highland cows were an absolute highlight. We loved swimming in the freezing water but we're unable to find Nessie. We will definitely be staying here again someday. Glorious vistas. Fantastic hosts. Fabulous experience.read more

I have rarely stayed somewhere so welcoming and comfortable. The main house was warm and charming and the cabin we... stayed in was very clean and comfortable. The owner was so personable and even stayed up around the fire and chatting out on the patio with myself and my family. He shared a lot of history with us about the location and about Scotland, including the mind blowing fact that there is a difference in Scottish and Irish Gaelic ?. If I ever find myself in the does of Loch Ness, I will definitely be staying here again.read more
Unfriendly staff/owner. We just asked for prices and he was very rude. Also he did not like it that we had children... with us and did not want to give us any rooms.Very sad ?read more
Aggressive owner. Insulted me and my wife multiple times and said he wants us to leave the property!!Unbelievable... ?Next, the room was not clean at all (hairs on the bed and bathroom looked old and ran down) Would not stay here ever again!!read more
Seldom does a place so vastly meet and exceed all expectations. The staff and owners were the perfect hosts, and not... one minute did we feel otherwise. The grounds are sweeping and beautifully maintained. Absolutely worthy of your consideration.read more
Such a wonderful B&B. The hosts are very friendly and helpful and the accommodations are equally comfortable and set in... stunning scenery. It is also a very animal friendly place with horses, cattle, dogs, and a self domesticated duck who acts like a dog. We all really enjoyed our stay and hope to come again one day!read more
Rustic with friendly welcome. Our room didn't overlook the Loch but a hairy coo which was lovely to see. A beautiful... walk into the village for dinner. Thanks for the early breakfast much appreciated.read more
We stayed in a cottage immediately at the lake in 2015. Fantastic experience. Will never forget the sunrise (don't miss... it!). Access road is half a mile off the main road, giving the place a remote feel. Fort Augustus is a colourful small village within walking distance.Highly recommended!read more
My boyfriend and I found this place randomly online and booked it. When we arrived we had no idea how amazing it was... going to be. First off the owner, Jenny, was the funniest and sweetest person we met on our travels. Her family was so friendly and they all made sure we had a wonderful time but recommending us places to visit in town, which by the way was very charming. Words can not describe how beautiful this place was. The pier house was cute and right on the lake surrounded by mountains. I will post pictures because as a photographer, this place was a dream to photograph. It was also amazing because she owned 3 highland cows, 3 horse, and 2 dogs (all of which where sweet and let you get close and pet them). The breakfast was home cooked and delicious. Even though we didn’t get to see Nessie, we left feeling like we found a hidden treasure. Next time we are in Scotland, we are going back. We had an amazing time.read more
A lovely B&B by the shores of Loch Ness. It's also a little farm, so there are animals about - horses dogs, a very old... cat. Since it's half a kilometre out of Fort Augustus it feels quiet and peaceful. We stayed in one of the small chalets near the lake and it was great. Strongly recommended.read more
What a lovely place to stay. We found it accidentally as we passed by, something made us turn around and investigate, I... am so glad we did. The location cannot be beaten. The history and setting are amazing. A stargazers delight! The cabin was lovely and very clean and for me it was perfect, neither too posh nor too rustic. Excellent water pressure in the shower and effective heating. Bed comfy. The breakfast was perfect and of the highest standard. We will be back for a longer stay with our families. I actually cannot recommend this place too highly. The owner and I share, coincidentally share a name. Be assured that this review is written by a very satisfied customer, and not the owner!read more
