This 125 year old house is beautifully situated on the shores of Loch Ness near the pretty village of Fort Augustus. This is a very private location with stunning loch and mountain views but we are only a ten minute walk or two minute drive from the centre of the village, with its shops, pubs and restaurants.
The house has three large public rooms with superb views over Loch Ness and surrounding mountains; log-fires, T.V. video-room, games and piano room. Free hot drinks bar for guests to use at any time.Family, Double and Twin bedrooms all have en-suite facilities.Open April through October plus Christmas and New Year.Prices range from £25 - £35 p.p. per night.We have pretty, self-catering log cabins which are very warm and well-equipped, with parking alongside, and the option of breakfast in the main house dining-room. The cabins vary in size to accommodate 2 – 5 people. Open all year.Prices range from £250 - £700 per cabin per week depending on size and season.
Our peninsula in Loch Ness is run as a small farm with friendly Highland Cattle and Highland Ponies who all graze naturally on the heather hill and woodlands beside the loch. We offer beautiful horse rides for all standards, accompanied by a local guide; also row-boats, Canadian canoes and mountain bikes are available.
This is a friendly, family house where Gaelic, French, German, Italian and Spanish are all spoken fluently.
