12 freshly decorated en-suite rooms, a traditional bar with a good range of whisky, gin and real ale. We serve locally sourced and freshly prepared meals with a highlight of the week being our popular Sunday roast.
Had a fantastic pub dinner here on our first night in Scotland. Tasty food and plenty of it - my only complaint was I... was so full after my main I didn't get to try the brownie! The staff were very friendly, but the chips in particular were delightful! 😉read more
We were staying at a nearby airbnb with limited food options and contacted this hotel on Sunday evening who were able... to make up a table for us despite being busy. The Sunday Roast and dessert were delicious and served quickly. Extremely friendly staff and good value for money. Would definitely return for food or stay when next in the area.read more
Booked a family meal here on Sunday at 5.30om and thoroughly enjoyed it. We all selected different mains and all loved... them. It would have been good to have had more green veg but this is being picky.
The desserts were equally good.
The place was busy but the staff were great. Friendly, accommodating and efficient service which is a challenge when customers are in several rooms.
Very happy to leave a tip as it was well deserved.
The decor had been updated since my last visit - quirky and individual. The hotel is only going to get busier.read more
One of our new favourites having had a very good Sunday lunch today. Great home cooking, packed with flavour, and a... good balance of value and portion size. One of the few places in the area to keep a couple of real ales on tap too, which is a major plus.
We will be back and will recommend to others.read more
A hotel with a great welcome. good food. and character, set in the hills with views all around. The view from our... bedroom was so great we did not shut the curtains. A great centre for touring . The owners could not do enough for you. They even welcome dogs with a comfortable mat to lie on. It is top of our list for a return visitread more
Steep stairs but good stairs, short walk down to the upper and lower viewing points. Very high and dramatic falls but... sadly not so impressive due to lack of flowing water. I imagine they are much more impressive after heavy rainfall, still worth the visit! Good car park opposite and very well sign posted path.read more
Booked a table today for ourselves as my daughter and her chap, lovely original decor a nice change from the norm. Log... fire. Very friendly staff and beautiful food. Can’t wait to go back again soon. Have already recommended to friends, thank you for a great lunch and we will see you soon. Best wishes lee and zoe 👌👍read more

What a wonderful place very reasonably priced for bed and breakfast. A great base for visiting the highlands. Dogs are... welcome which is ideal for pets to go on holiday too. Our room was lovely just the right size for us. We loved the decor of the place with it's old antiques and the bar with its log burner. The staff were friendly, the food and drinks we had was nice too. We would reccomend this small hotel to anyone wanting a nice break up Scotland. It's only a 2star but we think it deserves at least a 3star. We will probably stay for a visit again.x🙂read more
Nice and cozy little hotel, in the Highlands near Loch Ness. Amazing views on the road from Fort Augustus up to the... hotel. Friendly and helpfull staff, with a relaxed atmosphere in the combined bar and restaurant area. Great local home-cooked food at reasonable prizes, lots of the local folks swing by for a pint or a meal.
Cozy and clean rooms with everything you would expect.
A great place for daily trips out in the Highlands, like Loch Ness, Falls of Foyers, Glen Affric or Inverness.
We absolutely had a great time here and recommend it to everyone looking for a good time in the Highlands.read more
We went her while on holiday for the Sunday roast, loved every minute of our visit here, food was superb and my wife is... a fussy eater, she had the vegetable roast and I had the roast beef, staff are very friendly, we then went into the residents lounge sat down with a beer and listened to some old records, great experience and would highly recommend a visit.read more
My fiancé and I turned up without a booking one Sunday and the staff here were absolutely amazing, managing to fit us... in without reducing social distancing. We had a really romantic candlelit dinner for two and that’s before I even get to the food. We each had a vegetarian roast, which were amazing. A nut roast with goats cheese, roast potatoes and a spicy tomato gravy. I’d wholly recommend here for anyone in the area!!read more

I had a lovely stay at this hotel until late at night I was going to close the blinds when the curtain railling fell on... my head. It was late, so I just put it back and didn't want to wake anyone. The next morning I left the hotel and two days after I get a phone call demanding payment to fix the railing. The railing fell on me while I was using it for its intended purpose, I wasn't doing pull-ups. They then blackmailed me with pictures of my belongings that they violated my privacy by taking. Followed by them taking £50 from my account as payment for their faulty curtains. They also claimed that I had been smoking in their room while it was untrue. Very negative experience over all. They are thieves and liars.read more
We almost could not find the hotel. The road we were traveling on became increasingly barren and we were actually... worried we might have taken a wrong turn somewhere. It was only our faith in the Waze that got us there. Very friendly hosts who got us some dinner even though we arrived very late. The room was snug, but comfortable.read more
Really pleasant and helpful staff..very comfortable rooms..very clean too..
I arrived late (10pm), so never got to try... any of the food on offer and had to leave early so missed out on breakfast, but i am positive it would have been really nice..they kindly put together a drink, some fruit, crisps and a chocolate bar for our onward journey due to having to leave early..great service..read more
Stayed for one night on my way south with my dog Tia. It was her first night in a hotel. The Whitebridge is a magical... place. It is very authentic without feeling old. The rooms were lovely and very clean. I had dinner in the bar with Tia and it was no problem with the dog and the food was 5 star too. I had the steak pie and it was very tender with lovely tasting gravy and just perfect pastry. My greatest praise for the food was breakfast with was outstanding. Continental was included in the price and it was fantastic with lovely granola in yoghurt and fruits and great selection of cheese and meats. Finally the staff were all very jolly and helpful with just the right amount of friendliness. Highly recommended and Tia did well on her first night in a hotel ?read more
Really good food, we had to go twice as the food and service was so good!!! 100% would recommend. We didn't see any of... the rooms but there was a guest book dating back to the 1800's which was an interesting read.
